I provide 90-minute sessions of couples and relational counselling that can focus on relationship breakdown, sexual/intimacy issues, same sex relationship issues and older couples’ relationships.

I may use one or a combination of therapy modalities and therapeutic interventions, to bespoke your needs, such as anxiety, cultural identity, sexual identity, low self-esteem, anger management and addiction.
Psychodynamic counselling works by understanding and acknowledging that most emotional problems originate in childhood, and that all your experiences will have some kind of subsequent subconscious effect on you.
We will work together to identify subconscious thoughts, and to understand how these thoughts affect how you behave.
Person-Centered Counselling supports you taking a lead in discussions which allows you to discover your own solutions. I will compassionately listen without judgment and acknowledge your experience without moving the conversation in another direction. I will encourage and support you through the therapeutic process without interrupting or interfering with your self-discovery.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a short-term, goal-oriented treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. Our goal would be to change the patterns of thinking or behaviour that are behind your difficulties, and so change the way you feel.
Existential counselling focuses on your free will, your right to chose who you are, and your search for meaning. This approach emphasizes your capacity to make rational choices and to develop to your maximum potential.
Our first session of therapy will often focus on gathering information. I may speak with you about your past physical, mental, and emotional health. We may discuss the concerns that brought you to therapy.
We can also use our first session to decide if my style is a good fit for your needs.
